Hello and welcome to the Accolade homeschool page. When I homeschooled my children, eons ago (or so it seems), I made a list to explain to myself and others my reasons for entering into that somewhat uncharted territory. It was at once frightening and exciting. I located mentors and found friends with similar ideologies. The following is the list I made then:
Reasons for Homeschooling Your Children
Parents who homeschool are concerned about providing the best possible education. We work hard at individualizing our programs to best serve each individual child. We hire expert teachers when necessary to cover subjects with which we are not comfortable. Allow me to enumerate some of the reasons we find home education to be beneficial.
