Accolade is committed to the community we serve. Our tutors and staff are involved with local education and youth initiatives, volunteer work, and community assistance programs. They have demonstrated remarkable leadership and served as positive role models in our community. Additionally, Accolade has partnered with the following organizations at one time or another and we still enjoy our affiliations with them today.

National Tutoring Association (NTA)

Accolade is a proud member of the NTA. Established in 1992, this is the largest professional association dedicated exclusively to tutoring in the United States and abroad. It represents tutors practicing in all phases of tutoring, program administration, and supplemental student services. Members represent colleges, universities, high schools, middle schools, elementary schools, school districts, literacy programs, community programs, grant supported programs, NCLB/SES providers, private tutoring agencies, and private practice tutors.

Through our membership in this association, we are able to foster the advancement of professional and peer tutoring, and promote education and research to actively engage in best practices and standards for all of our tutors at all times. Tutor training and support is provided along with measures to obtain certification. Our tutors adhere to the NTA Code of Ethics and many are accredited through sponsorship in the program.

Cherokee County Chamber of Commerce

This not-for-profit business-to-business networking organization assists businesses with training and development and improves the community through economic expansion and growth. Through the Chamber, educational partnerships are formed between local businesses, schools, and the school district to further the common goal of providing excellence in education and creating more opportunities for students.

Accolade Tutoring has been a proud sponsor of athletic programs for many Cherokee County high schools. We have reached out to many area not-for-profit organizations and advocacy groups to support initiatives for education, higher learning, counseling, and family and peer issues. We foster partnerships within the community to engage and assist students and their families in educational initiatives and other professional services. It is our mission to promote both high academic achievement and character development and to take a whole approach to helping families meet their needs by bringing students, parents, and the community together.
