Our Commitment to your Privacy
Accolade In-Home Tutoring (“Accolade”) is firmly committed to protecting your privacy and information and ensuring that your visit to our web site is completely secure. In accordance with Accolade’s commitment to preserving sensitive information subjectively provided to us, this policy states how information is handled by Accolade administration, employees, independent contractors, third parties and other authorized persons. Any questions, concerns, or suggestions regarding this policy may be directed to an administrative official at Accolade.

Informal Collections
Accolade does not collect sensitive information without full consent of the host party. Information submission is formalized with forms and indication by Accolade to the provider. Information on browser, global location, national and state/providential, and ISP information is collected and stored on an Accolade server for a period of thirty days and is only used for statistical analysis, service improvements, or related viable reasons and is not provided or sold to any third party vendor, individual, or group.

Collection of your Personal Information
Accolade only saves personal information that is necessary for you to access and use our services and that allows us to communicate with you. Information submitted to us is only available to employees managing this information for purposes of contacting you or servicing your account based on your request(s) for information or services or your expressed interest in employment with us. It is also available to contracted service providers for purposes of providing services relating to our communications with you and your account management. Personal information of prospective employees may also be made available to government or other agencies to perform routine procedures for hiring practices. Personal information collected includes, but is not limited to, first and last names, physical address, email address(es), phone number(s), fax number(s), birth dates or age, financial information, academic history, and work history.

How we use your Personal Information
Information is retained for prospects, customers and employees, or independent contractors. Your personal information will be used in order to provide you with better service and perform normal business operations related to providing a service and hiring and maintaining personnel. This includes, but is not limited to, the use of information for communicating with you and completing transactions. Some examples include providing tutors and customers with each other’s contact information, providing references with the party’s consent only, or payment processing. Personal information of job applicants may also be used to execute standard employment practices such as performing background checks and employment verification.
Credit card numbers are used only for payment processing or to reserve hours for services while awaiting another form of payment at the customer’s request. They are not used for any other purpose.

Sharing your Personal Information
We will not sell, rent or provide your name or personal information to anyone else without your advance permission or unless ordered by a court of law. We do not sell, rent or provide outside access to our mailing list at all. However, if required by law, search warrant, subpoena, court order, or credit card fraud investigation, Accolade may be required to release such personal information.
Accolade maintains the security of your information at all times. We use the Secure Socket Layer (SSL) protocol with warranted 128-bit certified encryption strength to transmit sensitive information and prevent fraudulent activities. This is the same technology used in transmitting sensitive information by banks, governments, and online businesses such as Amazon.com and eBay.

Security of your Personal Information
We use security measures to protect against the loss, misuse and alteration of data used by our system. Once the information is in our system, it is accessible to authorized Accolade personnel only. We strictly enforce our privacy policies with our employees and any breach of this policy will result in termination and /or the pressing of criminal charges where there are grounds.

Protecting your Password
The information you provide when you register or request a password on our web site is held strictly confidential. For this reason it is essential that you provide a valid email account that will not block email from Accolade. If we need to contact you to provide a password, we can only contact you through the email address associated with your original password request. Protecting your confidential information is important to us. It is our strict policy that we do not give out passwords over the phone no matter the circumstance.

Informal Storage
Accolade does not download or place any information on your computer without your direct consent, other than cookies where warranted. Cookies store your individualized information to ensure ease of use. Appropriate blocking on the end user can prohibit the downloading of anything informal from Accolade.

Anti-Spam
Accolade sends email in regard to newsletters, sale information, and payment and statement/invoice regards. Accolade does not provide, endorse, or associate with spam, including the sale of your personal information for use of spam or marketing.
